This coffee is from the Womens Group of Tierra Lenca, a socially driven group focused on preserving their Indigenous Lenca culture while driving the industry forward by empowering women to be in control of their coffee and support their hard work. The Tierra Lenca Womens group started in 2015 and has two main goals: to help women to strengthen their production management skills and to help empower them to improve their opportunities of where they sell their coffee to get paid better.
